No Offer – Interviewed in Jun 2012 – Reviewed Jun 20, 2012
Interview Details –
First the interview was over the phone along with using an online program to share a document, the interviewer asked me to code a few simple things.
Next was a skype interview. People came to ask questions one at a time. Some were logic puzzles, and a few questions involved simple coding exercises again.
Third and final interview was an on-site interview, it was another panel similar to the skype interview. Overall all the interviews were not high pressured. Each person prepared their own set of questions, so the type of questions varied at times. A majority of the questions involved logic puzzles, small spot the error questions, a few that involved knowing what is happening to a pointer. Also, there are some people who will let you ask questions (so make sure you have them prepared!).
Interview Question –
A logic question
If a snail is in a 20 meter hole, every day it goes up 5 meters, every night it falls down 4 meters. How long will it take to get out?
