Overall Neutral Experience Received and Accepted Offer

Interviewed May 2008 in Cupertino, CA (took a day)

Symantec are a bunch of old wankers. If you have any skills whatsoever, they will be jealous. Instead, you need to demonstrate that you will be diplomatic and work well with a team. That's all they care about. There are some pretty weak employees at Symantec, and they are still there simply because they are nice to others and talk gently. Most people there have no talent and are intimidated by highly talented people. Again, you need to show you are a team player, and that you have worked successfully in big, old fashion, wanker companies just like Symantec.
