Syniverse Senior Test Engineer Interview

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Bangalore (India) (took 4 weeks)

The first round was 1:1 technical interview related to unix , shell script and oracle . also some testing related questions . Then the manager round was similar with little technical and more process related . Then a quick discussion with HR after the first two rounds. Every thing was fine . Then after some days again went for F2F discussion with senior product manager . This time also more of a formal talks about the product and its functionality for which they are hiring . Again HR round for the joining dates . But after few days they told that they could not get approval from VP -HR for my expected salary .

So what i felt the syniverse india office is completely dominated by the USA guys and here the managers or the HR guys have no voice at all and can't take decision of their own about the hiring process .

So guys if you are going for an interview with syniverse first confirm about your expected salary else it will be like my case spending about 5 -6 hours and getting no offer although you clear all rounds.
