Interviewed Dec 2009 in Burnsville, MN (took 5 days)
Eric Schoch, the 20% owner, will call first. Then, you will be asked to come into the Burnsville office to sit with the main owner, Dan Robbins, and usually 1 or 2 others. They will interview you for 45 minutes if they like you, and offer you a job within a week. Don't be fooled when they promise easily being able to make 100k plus. When Eric Schoch is in town, he has literally turned people away in interviews within 3 minutes! And...no, I am not exagerating. This just tells you what type of person that you would be working for.
Negotiation Details
I would ask for a 40k base, and 5% of all fees profited by TCI for the lifetime of the financing. They will try to only pay you for 12 months, but if the client stays on board for TCI, you wouldn't get paid unless you negotiate this ahead of time. This is a residual type job so you should try to get paid for as long as your sale stays with TCI which only seems fair.
Other Details
I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview and a Group/Panel Interview.
