Interviewed Nov 2010 (took a day)
you are being asked questions from wherever they like.Mostly yhey start from your resume and then they proceed to other sectors. They might turn out as jerks because whatever you say makes them look back at you in a disdainful way. There is not exactly a defined process how they are working towards interviewing.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took a day)
Aptitude test was a complete test of quantum & analytic skills. Anyone decently good enough would have cleared it. Interviewers were very supportive & positive. Expectantly high percentage of applicants were recruited by the company. It was a pleasant experience for someone appearing for his first job interview.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Mysore (India) (took a day)
Initially there was a 1:1 interview where they try to get an idea of your technical skills. I was quizzed on Java and DBMS. After that there was a 1:1 HR round where they ask some general HR questions like 'why TCS?', 'positive and negative points', etc. Be confident and for the technical round they ask you to rate your skill sets so that they can question you on your strong areas.

Round 1:- online test by touch stone (35 questions in 80 mins). i finished it in 45 mins. the questions are available on websites.

Interviewed Dec 2010 (took 2 days)
TCS visited my campus which is guru nanak dev university amritsar on 12 dec 2010 . first there was an aptitude test n those who cleared it were called for the interview .
The interview consisted of two rounds :
1 : technical
2: HR
The technical round concentrated upon the subjects of your interest (mainly data structure and dbms for comp science students ) . Also questions based on one of major programming languages . This round was good . the interviewer was quite cool . tcs mainly focuses on your basics . make sure your basics are strong .
Once u clear the technical round u r called for HR interview . itcs only a formality . 99% of students get selected in HR . Be confident and cool . All the best .
