Interviewed Jan 2010 (took a day)
1st- phone interview for about 20 min
2nd- face to face interview with very common interview questions "tell me about yourself, why do you want to work for td, teamwork, problem resolution etc)
Hiring staff were not very educated. Work cutlure is hostile because of bad management, VERY PERFORMANCE driven. You don't matter, just whether you hit sales targets or not.
Advice: do not work for TD bank unless you want a sales driven job where the only thing that matters are your metrics/sales targets and there is absolutely no teamwork or intellectual ability involved.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took a day)
Internal job posting at another branch in another region. Received an email to confirm an interview date. Sat down and did a 1 on 1 interview with the branch manager which consisted of very general questions regarding the role and situational/behavioural based questions. Lasted an hour and was pretty basic.

Interviewed May 2010 in Stratford, ON (Canada) (took a day)
Did an hour long phone interview with a regional recruiter and then met 1:1 with the branch manager. There were lots of questions relating to sales and sales targets. Also, half the interview was fairly informal with the BM just asking about what I was interested, where I wanted to go with the bank, etc. At the end of the day, they went with another candidate because they were a "higher energy individual." My recommendation: make sure your answers pop, try to make a couple jokes, and put less emphasis on qualifications and professionalism. This is a customer-driven position so behave accordingly.

Interviewed Jul 2009 (took a day)
Know what you are going to bring to the interview, your strengths weaknesses, how you are going to add value to the team, what your goals and purpose for applying to the position and why. Have scenerios of how you dealt with different situations that you may incurr ( difficult customer, difficult co worker, co workers not getting along affecting other co workers or clients etc.)
