I sent out a resume, TEK gave me a call within a week and we scheduled an interview. The interview started with a one on one with the executive acount manager who was very friendly. The interview was not at all behavioral, he more or less wanted to get to know me and figure out if I would fit in with the rest of the group. No difficult or unexpected questions, a very conversational interview. After the 1 on 1 I was passed around in the office and I spoke with other recruiters who all seemed very happy to talk to me. I interviewed on a Wednesday. By Thursday TEK contacted me, expressed their interest and told me to think about it over the weekend. By Tuesday the offer was in hand.

The process can be different depending on situation. However it usually consists of 1 phone interview, 1 personal interview with Director of Branch Operations, 2 panel interviews and a "pit sit" a shadowing phase.

I applied for the position. I was contacted by TEKsystem staff, whom interviewed by phone and invited me for face to face interview. After face to face interview I was contacted by their client technical staff for phone interview. After reviewing my experiences and answering few technical questions, I was invited for face to face interview. Face to face interview consisted of company overview, along with team responsibility followed by my job responsibility and expectations. Several technical and non- technical questions were asked by team members consist of Manager, and software technical leads and couple software engineers. I was offered the job the following day.

The interview with the Recruiter by phone was good. The 1:1 interview was with the Director of Business Operations. He kept telling me to call back, but never returned my calls. Then I received a pursuing other applicants letter, whatever. He could have told me that instead of the continuing to tell me to call back in two days.

A recruiter called me to ask if I was interested in a Marketing position in town; after acknowledging that I was, a second recruiter (with a long-term relationship at the employer) called to set up a 1:1 meeting the next day.
That meeting went well and he arranged for a phone interview two days later; the three-way interview (employer, recruiter and myself) lasted about 30 minutes.
Later that day the recruiter called with a job offer; I considered it over the weekend and accepted on the following Monday.

Only consisted of phone interview - told about rate - rate was "non-negotiable". Took drug test, interviewed with company. Got the job. The panel interview was a little bit tricky because there were many people and you had to talk to them and then look at them. It was nerve racking. I think they wanted to shake you up a little bit to see what you are made of.

The guys at TekSystems were really good. Followed up quickly and efficiently, negotiated a better salary, and seemed like they genuinely wanted me to get the job. Of course, their commission depended on me getting in, but they were still awesome to work with. Highly recommended.

Contacted directly by recruiter. Initially conducted phone interview. Another phone interview was arranged with a more in-depth process with another recruiter. Was given a on-line skills test with Microsoft office products, as well as personality test. Arranged for a face-to-face interview. Interview conducted very professionally. Offered an initial job offer at end of interview with overview of benefits, salary, etc.

Vacation and medical/dental plan was negotiable. Was told that if my contract with State Farm was successful at the end of the year-long contract, and I wanted to move to another location, TEKsystems would find me a job at my new location as well as pay any relocation costs.
