Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 3 weeks)
Work culture is excellent and staff are talented individuals. The interview process was a good experience with HR and panel interviewers. Questions were very challenging and it's important to do some research and study into the background of the company and the position and the areas of knowledge surrounding the responsibilities of the position.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Calgary, AB (Canada) (took 4+ weeks)
A few days after applying for a Co-op student position, TELUS contacted all eligible students with a list of possible positions available across Canada. You had to pick your top 3, ranging from locations across Canada, different business units, and a 4 or 8 month term. After the decision it took a week to get an email from TELUS regarding the interview and time. Mine was in a TELUS office, because I am located in a city where there is one. The interview was entirely behaviour based and was conducted via a conference call with the recruiter, and face-to-face with the hiring manager. Two weeks later I was sent background check forms, and another week after that the offer was sent.

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took 4+ weeks)
I was approach by the hiring manager/team to apply for the role, as I had all the qualification to do the job. With my experience and skill set, I was told by the hiring manager, this is my job to loose.
I interviewed with hiring manager 1:1. He asked me a lot of questions and even admitted that he wish he could hire me on the spot.
I was asked to prepare a 30-60-90 plan and email.
Once I completed the 30-60-90 plan, I was asked to present in front of the director and VP team
At the end of my presentation, I was approached by 2 of the directors and advised how great I had done
The hiring manager advised me they would be making a decision within a week.
I followed up and was advised it was pushed to another week
Waited 2 weeks and followed up, to be told that it was between myself and someone external candidate.
When I finally met with hiring manager, I was told how wonderful I was...but they decided to go with the external candidate. He was apologetic for misleading me and making me believe the job was mine
I felt very demotivated and crushed. This was a situation where I was asked to apply. I was not looking to change roles, however was encouraged to look into this role. I put a lot of effort in my interview, 30-60-90 plan and presentation.

Interviewed Aug 2009 in Montreal, QC (Canada) (took 3 months)
It was very long interview process. The final interview lasted about an hour. It was a two on one process then, finally I met with the director. There was quite a bit of emphasis on the said culture of the company, in terms of growth, innovation teamwork and fair play. I could automatically see the difference between the Director and the two managers that were interviewing me. The Director was more personable and seemed to be interested in what i had to say as well as my experience and my perceptions on management.

Interviewed Nov 2010 (took 2+ weeks)
The first round was a phone interview and it was very general and quite funny. The HR seemed like she does not know what she is asking and all she did was probably reading out questions from a sheet of paper. The panel interview was better but interviewers are in-experienced. The questions were very simple and any 2nd / 3rd year level students could get the job easily. I question the competence and the progressiveness entering such company.
