Interviewed Feb 2011 in Scarborough, ON (Canada) (took a day)
Interview was very standard behavioural interview for marketing. Tell me about Telus. What makes you excited about wireless devices? Name a weakness that Telus has. What's your biggest failure? The usual stuff. The interviewers were very friendly. Very reflective of the friendly corporate culture at Telus. I was notified about my rejection on the same day that acceptances were sent out (about a week later).

Interviewed Jan 2008 (took 1+ week)
Pretty basic interview going over past experiences, education and references. Nothing too excruciating and the interviewer seemed to just read the questions out of an interview 101 book. I can't really comment to further on precie questions because I can't recall.

Interviewed Sep 2008 (took a day)
The interview process fairly easy. The only difficult part was I had to role play with the interviewers - they chose a telephone senario and wanted me to act as the client care representative assisting a customer. -a bit awkward.

Interviewed May 2008 in Toronto, ON (Canada) (took 3 weeks)
This could be specific to the particular situation surrounding this position, but the process took a total of 5 months (from the first interview with HR to the tendering of the offer).
Communication with HR was great - they were very open and continued to provide me with updates throughout the entire process.
In total there were 5 interviews (1 with HR over the phone, 1 with hiring mgr - initial, a 2nd with hiring mgr - presentation, 1 with director/vp, and 1 to present offer).
Advice: come prepared. Telus is very big on asking candidates to do a powerpoint slide deck and presentation. Beat them to the punch and have one ready for the interview - situation analysis, SWOT, roadmap. Show you're a go-getter.

Negotiation Details
Yes I was able to negotiate. Understand what the market range is for the position you are interviewing for. Understand that anyone with 2 yrs of exp will tend to be in middle of range. Go from there.
Other Details
I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Presentation and a Background Check.
