I applied through a recruiter and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at TNS Global in January 2010.
Interview Details – I had only one interview with a panel of two (one director and your line manager). Standard questions about back-ground, why TNS, salary expectation, etc. Then timed verbal (logic statements) and numerical tests (can practice these online beforehand).
Interview Question – Nothing that really stands out. Maybe a question about previous experience with statistical packages (ie. SPSS). Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Through a recruitment agent. The response was quick and negotiated up my initial salary expectation price.

Very Easy Interview
I applied online and the process took 1 week - interviewed at TNS Global in February 2010.
Interview Details – I saw the advert at prospects.co.uk. The process as simple. I sent my CV along with coverletter to them. I got a call within a week for the interview cum Assessment centre. Before the AC, they sent out few slides which were not in order and gave few questions to find answers to from the slides. The idea was to analyse the data and charts given in the slides and come up with arguements to support your answers.Along with the presentation, we were also given numeracy tests and e-tray exercises.
Interview Question – What makes you a better candidate for this job? View Answer
I applied online and the process took a day - interviewed at TNS Global in January 2010.
Interview Details – I submitted CV and Coverletter for the job advertised at the TNS website. I received reply within a week that they will be considering me for the job and would arrange for the interview within a week. Before the interview, they sent me a powerpoint presentation which I had to study and answer few questions asked regarding effect of the promotional strategies on the product. Focus should be on analysing the data and slides carefully and come up with the answer. On the day of interview, you have to present your results to the panel of two interviewers. After the presentation, you have to do numerical tests, Checking exercise. After lunch, they tell you whether you are qualified for the next round which is 1:1 interview.
I didn't qualify for the last round and still expecting a feedback from them. They look for confident people who are all rounders, good in giving presentations, analysing information.
Interview Question – Where would you see yourself in 5 years time? Answer Question
