you Apply online and call to ask if the Restaurant Manager intends on hiring for the season or for full time and let them know that you have submitted an application. DON"T call during rushes such as between 11am - 1pm or 5pm-7pm.

Interviewed Apr 2012 in Detroit, MI (took 2 days)
i received a call fromt aco bell letting me know that they wanted to interview me, i arrived the next day and they basically had about 15 other people in the restaurant that they were interviewing. i signed my name and number on the paper and waited to be called for the interview. they finally called me and i had to pick 4 cards and the cards contained questions that she had to ask me (Describe a experience... type questions). On the way home from the interview i received a call asking for me to come to a second interview. this time it was about 9 people there and the supervisor just basically asked questions about my availability and guidelines. then after she interviewed everyone she told them to stay , she went back and came out with 9 books and some papers to fill out and told us we were all hired.

Attended a taco bell job fair and interviewed with a general manager. All seemed well and I was pretty sure I was going to get hired but I was wrong. Questions where pretty basic. Why do u wanna work here? what are ur strengths and weaknesses? What do u like to,see wen u walk in a resturaunt? etc etc. waste of my time

Interviewed Aug 2011 (took a day)
The interview consisted of a short waiting period where afterwards I was subjected to a variety of questions selected by the employer. There would be a total of five and were all quite general with a maximum of ten minutes to accomplish. Once completed the employer and myself shared a handshake in which I was told of my acceptance. You start as soon as you tell your employer you're available.
For the interview, dress casual. No need to overdress and prepare yourself since the employer wants to observe if you have good hygiene and have a mental state of mind. I would also recommend constant eye contact to assure the employer you are serious. If you show disinterest, your employer wouldn't consider you as worthy of the job as another. So to counteract this hindrance in your employment, show enthusiasm with a smile since you'll sell yourself better and show how friendly you'd be with customers.

Negotiation Details
When negotiating your wage, do a research on the average of those being paid. Aim for alittle above that and just maybe you'll get it. Don't expect too much due to the validity of this job and how nearly anyone can accomplish these tasks.

I applied In-Person and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview.

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took 2 months)
Truly overall relaxed atmosphere during the interview process. A very tedious and long process though. Many calls and one on one interviews to actually advance through the process. Overall very friendly and curtious.
