After the application was submitted I went to another store for an interview. Interview Details –
I went into the store with my mom and sister just to go shopping and I was looking for a job at that time and my mom wanted me to ask the lady if the were hiring and I did... And the were hiring so I filled out an application and gave it right to her and she handed me a book ( talbots magazine) and told me to study it and I did. I had to call her back a few times and when I did get her I, she offered to a interview with her and I went in the same day I called her.
When I went in we went to the back and interviewed the questions were normal ones: and she told me to go put to pick a outfit and sell it to her and I did, this was like the second time I did an interview so I was a bit nervous, bit I did sell it to her and I did an okay job. Anyway we went back to interview in the back of the store and she ended the interview and she asked me what I had planned for the weekend and I said I had a graduation to go to and she said she was going to the movies with her husband. She was nice, I thanked her for her time and left. She said she had a few more interviews to go and she would. Get back to me.
Week past and I called her to see if she had made a decision yet and she said no. So maybe two weeks later I call her up again and she said that she gave the postion to some one else and I was angry ( not on the phone) but to my self because she could of told me that. anyway a few months later around thanksgiving she called me up to see If I was still interested and I said yes and she said she would call me back with my salary.
So she calls me and wants to no if I am still available these same times that were on my application.( keep in mind that was summer and by this time now I was in school so it changed) so when I told her that she seemed irritated which irritated me because she knew I was a student and couldn't work those times. Also I couldn't work Sunday( only day I couldn't work) apparently it was a requirement to so she told me on the phone : "well this won't work, I'm sorry but Sunday is a requirement" so I said okay and she hung up.
Besides I really didn't want to work there because of how she treated me before and well this was just the icing on the cake. I thought she was nice but I guess not she showed her true colors.
