The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target in May 2009
Interview
I applied at Target online at 1:00 a.m. and awoke at 10 a.m. that same day with a call to come in for an interview the next day. When I came in, I sat down and took a math test (VERY easy) and a personality test (What makes a good leader, etc.) which was only 28 questions combined. Three executive team leaders then conducted one on one interviews. They read from a script and rated the responses on a scale of 1-5 (five being the best). The questions were all situational (tell me about a time when...) and very unoriginal. I felt as if I was having a conversation with the "cool" kids in high school and didn't feel that I fit the culture of Target (although I had told them that I admired it). After a few minutes one of the executives came out and offered me a job starting at $8.25 an hour working 32-40 hours per week.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2018
Interview
I interviewed with the person that would be managing me. The interview started with a series of questions around self description. Basically like a getting to know you. So they ask you the general question, tell me about yourself. In the interview process they also emphasize modeling. So they would often ask you a question and then provide an example of what they were looking for with that question.
