Target Store Executive Intern Interview

Posted Jan 3, 2010

No Offer – Interviewed in Fresno, CA Dec 2009 – Reviewed Jan 3, 2010

Interview Details – Went through my college recruiter for this internship. I had to speak with the campus recruiter and then submit an online application. It took about 3 weeks just to get a call from HR. Over the phone I was asked to (1) describe myself (2) leadership experiences (3) why I want to work there (4) how would my coworkers describe me. Took about 10 mins. Then was emailed the online assessment to take. It took about an hour to complete. Started off with easy situational questions that I breezed through but the other half were math questions. Similar to those found on the SAT's. They were challenging I have to admit and most were repetitive but just worded differently. Once it was completed I was to call HR back which after was the frustrating part. Because every time I called I just got the voice mail. I gave up and waited a couple of days hoping to reach them and got the voice mail again. Then within 15 mins a different person called me. All they said was that they wanted to schedule an interview with the store manager(s) at their district office which, is where I am at now. I have the interview this week and from what I've read it'll be a lot of the situational questions.
