Interviewed May 2012 (took a day)
The environment was professional and emphasized a team ethos. The facility was very clean and felt like people cared about where they worked. Overall, the experience was positive and the team genuinely wanted to know about your experiences through situations you've dealt with.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took 4 weeks)
I met with Target at my school's career/job fair in the fall of 2011. I spoke with a recruiter and gave them my resume. Shortly after I received an email about an upcoming store tour and information session at the local target in the area. After the tour, interview schedules were discussed and area preferences. I then had my round one interview on campus with the store manager and another team leader who sat and took notes. The interview consisted of basic behavior type questions using the STAR method, Situation, Task, Action you took, and Result. I then was called back for a second round consisting of two interviews back to back again on campus. Same type of questions along with the basic tell me about yourself. Why target? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? After that I was called for a third round phone interview. Same type questions. The whole process was about a month long and in the end I did not receive an offer.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took a day)
I attended a Career Fair through campus and left my resume. I was contacted a week later through an email telling me that if I was still interested, they would like to meet with me at a local cafe. It was a very casual meeting, hardly an interview, I might add. It was more of a meet and greet. It was an opportunity for me to tell them about my interests and a chance for me to learn about what I may be getting into.

Interviewed Oct 2011 (took a day)
The interview was straight forward, but I was not told that I would have multiple interviews on the same day. I literally went from one to the next, which I wasn't prepared for. Additionally, I was not told that I would receive an email that I needed to respond to as part of the process. I overlooked it due to high volume in my inbox, and did not notice it until I received an email saying that I was not being offered the position.

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took a day)
Overall, the interview experience was a mix of IQ tests and Situational analysis. This was my first time ever going through this process. Indeed I learned a great deal about myself and was pleased with the post consultation from the outside agency that conducted the testing. However, I got the feeling that a candidate had been selected and I was being interviewed to simply “check the box.” As for the atmosphere, it was rather stoic for a CPG company – which was a surprise.
