Like a normal Target interview, but drawing more on my experience with the company. "Tell me about a time when..." type stuff. They wanted to hear about things I had impacted as far as number, metric, implementing new ideas, leadership, and how flexible/able to learn new things I was. Wanted to know I wasn't afraid of a challenge. There were 4 interviews total, scheduled whenever there was time in the store. I was an internal promotion from Instocks TM. 1 with ETL-Salesfloor, 1 with ETL-Human Resources, 1 with Store Team Lead, and 1 with District Manager. The one with the DTL was kind of just a run through. From my understanding, if you got the interview with the DTL you got the job. The nice thing was you got to sit down and receive feedback on the interview process and what yo could do better next time at the time of the offer/turn down.

I put in my application online, and then stopped by to make sure they knew who I was. People seemed friendly, and hardworking. The interview had 2 parts- one by the team leader and another by the pharmacist. They both involved situational questions that asked to describe previous situations that described certain leadership qualities. I don't recall the questions, but some were more general and others asked for more specific answers.

The interview and application was simple, though thorough. After the application, I received information about he interview within 48 hours. From that point, I scheduled an interview. If I passed the first interview with my team lead, protocol calls for a second to be scheduled with an executive team lead, but I was asked if I wanted to go ahead and take care of my second interview right away. After the second interview, I was offered the job!

I applied on-line and was called within 2 days and given a generic phone interview. The department was pretty desperate for employees as the back-to-school season was about to begin, so I had a 1:1 interview which consisted of basic scenario questions and was offered a position the same day.
