Simple. 1 round with a member of Human Resources. General questions about your education, experience, and availability to work. Overall, it was not a challenging process. Simple preparation was required.

Interview was virtual for the first round, with answers to each question needing to be recorded. Second interview was in person. Both interviews were straightforward and simple, not too in depth but still felt like time was well spent.

Pretty easy .I had one phone interview and one in person. Almost anyone gets hired, especially for seasonal. If you work and are on time you’ll get kept past seasonal.

I waited first to be called in to be interviewed by the hiring manager. They asked me a variety of questions more of scenario based questions. After that I was sent back to the room where I was later interviewed by the team lead and was asked some more scenario based questions along with pay rate.

What a joke. Waited 45 minutes for the first interviewer who took me into an office and asked typical corporate questions, He was simply reading off a list. Told me it would take a few weeks to get a response. Sent off to a second interviewer who was also not prepared for an interview and I waited 20 minutes till we spoke. Same thing. He told me that I would hear from them within a day or two. Got results via email the next day. It was a corporate written: "We decided not to hire you - no reason why - thank you!" I handled the interview just fine and as far as I could tell there was NO reason I was supposed to be hired (I would pass any drug and background check). Except that I was too old. (I am in my mid-forties). There have been rumors that Target is pretty ageist in their hiring habits. Considering the two men I interviewed with were in their early 20s and in looking around the store I saw ONE person over 30 I'd say that this assumption was correct. Target wants very young people, had young people handle the interview who were very unprepared and lost out on a hard working employee. I foresee Target having some pretty big problems in the future with this obvious discrimination.

I was misinformed about which location I had an interview for. Was told the initial location I applied for didn't have any positions available and was told I had an interview for a different location. Day of, I arrive at the location and am informed that my interview is at the location that I was told didn't have any available positions. As a result, I was an hour late to the interview. I got through two interviews but I do believe I didn't get the job because I was an hour late.

I interviewed with one individual and answered her questions on team work. Then, they brought in a manager that also asked me what I would do in certain scenarios. The main focus was on team work and customer service situations. They were very open to questions.
