Interviewed Nov 2011 in Salt Lake City, UT (took 3 days)
I applied in store on their computers, got a call like 2 hours later and asked if I could come in for an interview the next day and I accepted. Came in and a manager interviewed me with one half of the packet then another manager came in to interview me on the other half of the packet and they both wrote my answers to the questions in the packet. They told me they'd give me a call and they did the next day. They gave me a conditional job offer if i passed a drug test, took the test and was given a day to appear at job orientation.

Interviewed Aug 2010 in Salt Lake City, UT (took 3 days)
Two phone interviews so far with HR Representatives. The second was shorter than the first. The first was just basic information about me, what I was looking for, and then an intro to Target. Second interview was just a few behavioral questions. Have not heard back yet on whether I'm still in the running or not.

Interviewed Jul 2010 in Salt Lake City, UT (took 2 weeks)
Initial communication was quick. I received an offer to interview only a few days after I applied online for 3 different positions. Interview scheduled for a week later and took 2 hours in a hotel lobby. I was not offered a job, but I believe that so many different people spoke to me that I was unable to show a proper example of my skills.

Interviewed Dec 2008 in Salt Lake City, UT (took 4 weeks)
The parts of the selection process for getting a new job are completing an application, the preliminary interview, employment testing, the diagnostic interview, reference checking, and then the human resources final decision. The major part of this selection process is the job interview. The typical interview process for Target Corporation begins with an initial human resources screening, followed by 2 or more interviews with potential managers. Interviews also involve a programming test, but job offers are not based on the scores of the test. Target Corporation's interviews are structured interviews, which are interviews conducted according to a predetermined outline. In the interviews the human resource manager asks the same basic questions that most retail stores ask
