Interviewed Oct 2011 in Denver, CO (took 2 days)
I applied online and received a call to interview. When I arrived I had to take a 15 minute test about how to handle different situations that may arise. After completing that I interviewed with three different group leads. Most questions were concerning why I might be good fit. I tried to convey that I was polite and a hard worker. I also made it clear that I understood the atmosphere of the store because I shopped there. The interviewers were very nice and friendly.

Interviewed Mar 2010 (took a day)
I applied online and got a phone call a few days later inviting me for an interview. I had two 1:1 interviews, about 15 minutes each, with a manager and a Team Leader, and was offered the job on the same day, subject to background check and drug test. It was a temporary/seasonal position for 3 months as the store was undergoing a remodel but I was told I could well be kept on if I liked the job and everything went well. I came back a few days later with my uniform and had an orientation which consisted of a video presentation and a tour round the store. By then the background check and drug test results had come back and was officially hired.

Negotiation Details
I responded to a position based in the back room, but a the interview it was suggested that being on the sales floor might be more suitable for me due to my previous retail experience, so I was happy to be hired for that role instead. The pay was a hourly rate and not negotiable, but there was some flexibility in the shifts available, eg I was able to request not to work early in the mornings or overnight.

Interviewed Oct 2009 (took a day)
Very fast and easy interview, mainly because this was for a seasonal position before the holidays and they were interviewing many candidates that day. Questions were typical and expected ('tell me about a time when...', strengths, weaknesses, etc.). I met with a total of 2 Team Leads before being sent to the ETL - HR and offered the position.

Interviewed Oct 2009 (took a day)
Applied online but contacted a friend who worked at the store. Day of interview had 3 short interviews with 3 different people, signed conditional offer : needed to pass background check and drug test. Interviews were short and also had to take an assessment of customer service type situational questions. Liked the interviewers and once the drug test and bg check results came back, I started working in a about a week. Orientation consisted of several videos and paperwork for taxes etc... and a store tour. Like the people and the job. For the most part everyone is welcoming and friendly.
