Interview Details – Since it was for a laternal entry and my resume was forwarded by a friend for an opening in their team, the interview process was predominantly over the phone. And since the opening and the interviewers were in another city, they were flexible for the telephonic interviews. Subject based interviews were crisp and satisfactory but the HR interviews took more time where they were not convinced with the demands and were really cheesy when it came to propose an offer. Salary is one thing that was not at all satisfactory here.
Interview Question – Actually none. Answer Question
Negotiation Details – Negotiation was made tough by the HR since I was working for another industry though that experience helps me in conducting my job well. HR did not have an understanding on domains but only understands numbers and relevant experience (and in this case it was IT industry only and also salary is templatised based on college one passed out etc).
