Interview Details – For GETs TATA Motors has a very simple interview process. They have an initial online written test and a following on campus interview if you clear the online test. The interviewers ask you questions about your resume and previous projects. Some questions like why do you want to join the company and where do you see yourself in 5 years are common.

Interview Details – The complete hiring process was consisted of 3 rounds.It began with written test of 2.5 hours followed by a group discussion and finally ended with Personal Interview including both HR and Technical questions .Regarding difficulty level ,HR questions were common as often asked but technical questions required in-depth knowledge of your favorite subject asked during interview.

2) GD- Single topic. Communication skills and group orientation are noted. Do not try to hijack the GD towards yourself and your view point. Get the entire group to talk and contribute

Interview Details – I had applied online for a job position and received a phone call from the HR dept on 19 Dec 2012, asking me to come for an interview on 22 Dec 2012. I gave interviews for two departments (hybrid vehicle group & Vehicle electricals) and got chosen for the second department.
Interview Question – They were asking questions mostly from my previous work experience, only technical. No HR questions were posed. Answer Question

Interview Details – BAsed on both behavioral aspect as well as technical aspect of Human resources. Asked me questions like why HR and why TATA. Then went onto Performance Management Systems, my hobbies, mathematics among other things. Was a chilled out interview and they were very open to me.
