Interview Details – its a 3 stage process..
1)an online written test based round which is easy to crack as it tests with basics of quant and english proficiency
2)GD
3)PI (approx 30 min- 1 hr)

Interview Question – alternate ways to run a petrol/gas station without using electricity...considering the safety aspects as well...   Answer Question

I applied through college or university and the process took 2 days - interviewed at Tata Motors in September 2012.

Interview Details – Hiring process was undertaken at campus. First a written test was conducted followed by Group discussion and interview.
Topics in group discussion were common related to current affairs.
Interview too was general that concentrated on projects and trainings carried out. Questions were asked based on the working of automobiles

Interview Question – most of the questions were common and easy but a question which i felt unexpected was:
describe the main functional of an electric motors employed in a car.

Negotiation Details – i completely described the project that i carried out which was matching the field of interest of the interviewer and described how i could be helpful to the organisation.

Interview Details – The complete hiring process was consisted of 3 rounds.It began with written test of 2.5 hours followed by a group discussion and finally ended with Personal Interview including both HR and Technical questions .Regarding difficulty level ,HR questions were common as often asked but technical questions required in-depth knowledge of your favorite subject asked during interview.

Interview Question – The type of mechanism in shaper machines , support it with diagram and its detailed explanation.   Answer Question

Interview Details – Campus Recruitment process:
1) Written- Regular Apti/Quanti/ English and GK questions
2) GD- Single topic. Communication skills and group orientation are noted. Do not try to hijack the GD towards yourself and your view point. Get the entire group to talk and contribute
3) Tech and HR interview: Basic Tech ques.

Interview Details – I had applied online for a job position and received a phone call from the HR dept on 19 Dec 2012, asking me to come for an interview on 22 Dec 2012. I gave interviews for two departments (hybrid vehicle group & Vehicle electricals) and got chosen for the second department.

Interview Question – They were asking questions mostly from my previous work experience, only technical. No HR questions were posed.   Answer Question

Interview Details – BAsed on both behavioral aspect as well as technical aspect of Human resources. Asked me questions like why HR and why TATA. Then went onto Performance Management Systems, my hobbies, mathematics among other things. Was a chilled out interview and they were very open to me.
