Negotiation Details
This is the company where it depends on your negotiation skills. The company itself never offer you a good salary. Company and senior management is very much money minded.

The interview process was a day long affair, starting with a computer aptitude test. Clearing which there was an HR interview, a technical interview asking about my projects, and a group discussion round to check my ability to get involved in a group.

I got placed through the campus placements. Techmahindra had come in to our college for recruitment. They had written exams which were then used as a benchmark for further rounds. I had a technical interview and then an HR interview. Both went quite well. We were given the placement letters at the end of the day. The interview people were quite nice and they made the candidates quite comfortable. Working here in Techmahindra people are friendly. But we need more transparency in our dealings. The work culture is pretty relaxed atleast in my team but getting out of a project can be very difficult. Also asking for a location transfer is like asking god for the forbidden apple. Almost never granted.

i just finished my B.E in Info science. I got placed in Tech Mahindra.It had 3 rounds.The first one was an online aptitude exam consisted of 6 sections and there was sectional cut off.then there was a technical interview where they asked mainly about my interests and subjects of my engineering.then finally there was a HR interview which was a formal interview.

Good chaps, called at the appropriate time, were very punctual, and also seemed to be intelligent people. A rare breed today in many companies. Started off with a brief description of current job role, followed by questions on Core Java, slowly upping the tempo. About an hour long interview focussing on knowledge of core concepts as well as programming skills. Also checked problem solving skills. Nice experience overall.

Interviewer was a strong technical person, he evaluated full of Core Java and looked for any of the new J2EE tchnologies. Its fine if you are good in Java and if you are a quick learner.
He checked analytical skills by asking me to write a simple factorial program using recursion and sorting program.
