Interviewed Mar 2012 in Newton, MA (took a day)
I was contacted via email to pick a time to have a phone interview. We arranged a time, and the HR Manager called 35 minutes late. The first thing she said was "please provide me a high-level explanation of your job history" in a intimidating tone.
Reason for Declining
After the interview process I determined the rudeness of the HR Manager was a predictor of the overall culture of the company. Not for me.

Interviewed Mar 2012 in Newton, MA (took 5 days)
I was called for a phone interview and the interview consisted of some basic questions about my experience. When it came to salary I stated my expections and I was told the position paid $ 57,000/yr. I was not really surprised by this as so many other people posted that Tech Target's salaries were los. This was not even close to what I was looking for so there was no need to go further into the process.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in San Francisco, CA (took 2 weeks)
First round is a quick phone interview with the HR Manager. They ask the typical questions: what are you looking for, what interested you about this position, what are your strengths, tell me a little about your background.
Next round is with the department manager and its the same questions, but it goes into more of tell me a good / bad experience and for this position they typically want to know your understanding or experience within client management. Usually about a half hour long conversation.
Final round is with the department manager and a couple people on the team. They ask you to do a client presentation so that they can understand your thought process for client presentations.
Overall first impression is that it is a friendly, easy going environment. Everyone is pretty young there and it is a casual environment.
They do have the tendency to promise things in the beginning that they can not deliver on in the end.
Hands down this is a great place to learn and develop your skills.

Negotiation Details
I was able to negotiate a little on salary, but they don't offer much in the first place.
Depending on your situation if you can hold out for a better offer elsewhere then go for it.
They don't pay based off of cost of living standards for the bay area.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Newton, MA (took 2 months)
First step was a phone interview with HR who then forwarded my resume on to the department manager. Had one interview with her, then came back a week later for an interview with the Department Directer. Each interview lasted a little over an hour. Involved some "under the radar" personality tests such as "how do you make a jelly sandwich" after second interview took about a month to recieve the offer, was told it was stuck in finance debating how much salary to offer

Interviewed Jul 2011 (took 4 weeks)
I was contacted about two weeks after I applied and had a phone interview with a woman in human resources. The interview was your basic pre-screening interview and I was asked to have a second phone interview with my potential superior (she does not work in the newton office). The interview was pretty much the same as the pre-screening, and I was later asked to come to the office. I had short interviews with tech employees. I was later told that they felt another candidate was a better fit.

Interviewed Jul 2011 (took 4+ weeks)
For this position I had four phone interviews, and then had to meet with a group and execute a 20-25 minute presentation. The communication between me and the company went very well. The final decision however did take two weeks to arrive after asking for references. Overall, the company seems to have a great culture, highly skilled individuals for the industry, and great communication. I only wish they would have chosen me.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Newton, MA (took 1+ week)
I applied for a job I found on Monster, and a recruiter emailed me about a week after to set up a phone interview. I interviewed over the phone with the recruiter a few days later, which lasted about an hour. The recruiter asked me questions about my relative experience mostly, and then asked me to come into the office to interview with the hiring manager (VP of my department) and then the Senior Manager who I would be working for directly. It was a fairly easy process and we mostly discussed my experiences and goals and if TechTarget would be a good fit.

Negotiation Details
The starting salaries (at least) seem entirely non-negotiable. They definitely low-ball you because they know if you say 'no' to their offer, the next best candidate will be waiting right outside the door ready to accept.
