Interviewed Sep 2010 (took 5 days)
The interview was fairly straight forward. You interview with a territory manager/Senior Rep, first. Then your second interview is with a territory manager or regional manager. Then your third interview is with a divisional manager, vice president, etc.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Anderson, SC (took 2 weeks)
Pretty standard questions that I would expect in just about any interview that had anything to do with sales. My first interview was conducted on my university campus with the regional sales manager. The second interview was also conducted on campus as well about a week and a half later with the recruiting coordinator. Both interviews had a fairly good feel to them and there were no real curveballs thrown by the interviewers.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Boston, MA (took a day)
Met at career fair, offered interview on campus. Interview was primarily behavioral questions-very basic. What was the hardest decision you had to make? for example. also asked if you could relocate (necessary), lift 50 lbs, and feel comfortable with power tools. Overall, the interview was very easy and the interviewer did not make me feel singled out at all and it was a very comfortable conversation

TTI came to my college's career fair. There we two days of on campus interviewing. The questions were generic and easy to answer so long as you have had decent experience and education. Utilize your experience in group projects and explain leadership opportunities and successes. If you have retail experience capitalize on it. These recruiters were laid back and easy to talk to.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Milwaukee, WI (took 3 weeks)
Regional sales rep gave a great presentation in a marketing lecture at my school. I like the presentation so I signed up for an interview.
First round was 1:1 with a lower level regional manager who would've been my boss. That night, she called back and I was invited to interview with her boss (the original presenter). 5 minute joke of a no-stress interview. Mostly to see if I was easygoing, presentable, good communicator. Was invited to fly to Milwaukee after 5 minutes, and spend the last 10-15 minutes shooting the breeze.
Milwaukee was cool. Boring town, awesome people. 35 college students there interviewing for 15 positions. Some were passionate about powertools, I was not, which I think was eventually communicated in the 3 one-on-one interviews.
I didn't care about the job at all. I had better prospects in different industries that I was extremely passionate about, so this was more for the experience, and the fact that the corporate machine moved so fast.

Interviewed Nov 2010 (took 2 weeks)
I just happened to stumble on TTi when I was on my university's career center website and applied on a whim. It turned out to be a great opportunity that I ran with even though I had multiple other job offers that were presenting higher pay, but fewer benefits. From the time I submitted my resume to the time I had my first and second round interview was about two days, and the week after that I was on my way to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the final round interviews with the senior management at the Milwaukee Electric Corporation headquarters (one of TTi's top selling brands of heavy duty power tools). The interview process was BY FAR the most laid back I have experienced, and I have gone on a ton of interviews over the last few months so I have some idea of what an "average" interview is like-which TTi's was anything but!
Everyone I met while in Milwaukee genuinely seemed like they enjoyed their work and were excited about the direction the company is taking. All of the managers and high level executives I met with were extremely approachable and knew everyone in the office of over 400 people by name. I can't speak for the other TTi headquarters, but Milwaukee's had an outstanding seamless flow to it, and you could just feel the creativity in the air. Their huge training facility, built strictly for TTi's Leadership Development Program, was state of the art and very impressive. In fact, it's just one of those things you have to see to believe.
They definitely "wined and dined" all the candidates, with everything from picking us up in stretch limos from the airport, taking us out for great dining and drinks, and putting us up in a great hotel. The first day was primarily all about letting the candidates for the Leadership Development Program find out all about TTi and it's brands, and allowing us to really interview the company to make sure everything would be a good fit. We toured the facility after lunch, and then went to the local Home Depot to see exactly what our jobs would be as a Field Sales Representative. That evening we checked into the hotel, and shortly thereafter went to a great restaurant to network with all the interviewing managers and executives over drinks and good authentic Milwaukee fare. The next morning we each had three 30 minute interviews with all the same managers and execs we networked with the night before, and it was so easy. The whole trip was primarily just them trying to find out how we as candidates felt about the company, and it was a lot of fun.
I was given a verbal offer one day after I got back from Milwaukee, and received the written offer the day after that. That only part I'm disappointed in is that they didn't give me ANY of my top three locations that I asked for, so I'm having to negotiate that with them right now. I have a feeling it's because they pay only $2500 for relocation if moving less than 500 miles away, and $5000 if over 500 miles, which all of mine were over 500 miles. You have 5 business days to accept/decline the offer from the time you receive it in writing, and they won't budge on that.
In general, if you're looking for a company that has an amazingly laid back, creative corporate culture that is looking to invest serious amounts of time and money into your career development as a sales and marketing leader, then you should seriously consider TTi for your first career if you're straight out of college. I know I won't regret my choice. Good luck with yours.

Negotiation Details
There isn't any room for negotiations when it comes to salary and benefits, but if you didn't get any of your top three locations that you wanted to be at, then you should definitely try to work with them to get something that you both can live with.

Interviewed Sep 2010 (took 1 week)
Submitted a resume on a wednesday, had a phone interview the next day, set up an in person interview for the following tuesday and another phone interview with a different regional manager on wednesday, and job offer came on friday. 8 days from first contact.
TTI really seems to look for motivated leaders, so if you have experience in leadership, play that to your advantage which is what I did.

Interviewed May 2009 in Atlanta, GA (took a day)
The interview process began with an email exchange and then proceeded to a seated interview between a recruiter, a manager, and myself. They asked very basic questions pertaining to my background experience and how it would relate to a career in Sales/Marketing with TTI. Be prepared to discuss your weaknesses openly and honestly. They will not accept traditional "filler" answers for weaknesses. They want to know specific situations where you have failed and how you overcame that failure.
