Interview Details – It was a telephonic interview of 30-40 min and purely based on experience based questions i.e i was interviewed for j2ee oracle weblogic portal developer. questions were on purely fundamentals.if some body has worked on portal technology's all segment then can ans.by the way overalls it was good one.and the interviewer was co-operative

I applied through a recruiter and the process took 2 days - interviewed at Tecnotree in December 2011.

Interview Details – Got the call via a recruiter in the org.. Attended the interview on 10th Dec 2011..
It comprises of :
1> Technical round : Was asked questions from basics of SQL like aggregate functions,constraints and all such sort of minute things till the most advanced concepts like Cursors, Bulk Collect.. Almost have touched every part of SQL and pl/sql it lasted for more than 45 mins. Overall the round was good..

2> Managerial round : Was just asked about myself and about projects worked and different features of tech been used in them and based on the same was asked some tech questions based on the same.. It lasted for 25 mins and was good enough..

3> HR round : Just normal things and salary negotiations.. Didn't get the final out put yet have asked for 55% of hike and still waiting for a result..

4. A Stressful Tech cum Managerial round, panel consist of 2 ppl, one technically sound person and a tough manager.. Hmmm just normal questions but they drill down very deep into it, by putting lot of pressure... The final out come is they pull ur leg like anything.

Overall interview process is fair and decent.. Even the of work looks to be good and promising...

Interview Questions

  • SQL : Functionality of string functions like SUBSTR,INSTR. About Date functions. About constraints on tables. About triggers. About Joins. Sub queries.
    What not all segments were touched and for every question a scenario was been given to resolve, which was easy and enjoyable to think about and solve.

  • PL/SQL : About Functions, Procedures, Packages. About types of Cursor, PL/SQL Types(Derived datatypes), Bulk collect.. Scenarios were given for all, had to spoil 2 white papers to answer the different scenarios :-)   Answer Question

Reason for Declining – They gave a position of Soft ware engineer for a 3+ exp guy and even the pay was not upto the mark..
