I applied through a recruiter - interviewed at TeleTech in August 2013.
Interview Details – I was contacted by a recruiter and had a quick phone interview. I was then sent the job description to look over and I got back to the recruiter to let him know where I thought my strengths and weaknesses were for the job. He emailed me a week later asking me to come in for an interview, it is next week.
Interview Question – What are some of your analytical skills? Answer Question
I applied in-person and the process took a day - interviewed at TeleTech in March 2013.
Interview Details – Hiring process is very simple for TeleTech. If you have a high school diploma or GED, you are eligible for any entry-level position in the company. Go to teletechjobs.com or to your local TeleTech and apply. You will complete the application and likely take an online assessment based on various phone-based situations you may or may not encounter on the job. The entire process takes about 2 to 2 1/2 hours, including a brief interview by a member of the hiring center (HC). The interview questions are simple questions, used by several interviewers from multiple jobs -- tell us about a time that you felt overwhelmed and how did you handle it, tell us about a time you had to work as part of a team, etc. etc...
Interview Question – All questions were expected and required thinking on the fly, but the interviewers are not trying to stump you, they just want to know that you have real-world experience to bring to the company. View Answer
Negotiation Details – There was no negotiation. They offer all agents the same base rate regardless of your experience or seniority.
I applied online - interviewed at TeleTech in September 2012.
Interview Details – The hiring process for this company was normal. The first phase you complete your application and pass your workbooth assessment. Second phase is the job offer where you are signed into a room via the internet/phone with about 25-30 other people and given details about the job, if you are still interested after this point you accept the job offer. You will be set up with a training date. My experience with this company was great!
Interview Question – The question that were asked via phone were very basic. I believe there might have been a question asking about a time that you had a difficult situation. View Answer
Negotiation Details – No negotiating

They let you know right away if you pass the assessment. I did, so they invited me to come back the following day for an interview. The interview was a sit down with a team lead and went smoothly.
