Interviewed Feb 2011 (took 4+ weeks)
Telerx's interviewing process is pretty inconsiderate. My interview was supposed to be at 1:00PM and I didn't get in until 1:45 PM for the first round and then interviewed with the second person at 2:30 PM, so since I got there a little early, it took about 3 hours for the whole process. Since I worked there, I noticed that ALL interviewees sit in the lobby and wait for a minimum of 15 minutes and sometimes up to 30 or 45 minutes which is really inconsiderate.

Interviewed Dec 2011 (took 6 weeks)
My initial contact was with their Corporate Recruiter via the phone - she was interested to explore my managerial experience, as it was a requirement for the position. My second contact was with one of their Senior VP's and was also over the phone. The crux of this conversation concerned my abilities at differing marketing skills. My third interview was face-to-face and I met with two different individuals, a third introduction was intended, but did not occur. Overall, the questions were relatively mild and the interview was an easy going experience. I was, however, disappointed that I didn't get to meet their HR Manager.
The facility was clean and well kept. I was greeted by name when I entered the building, which was nice. The folks that I encountered were all pleasant. Very quiet atmosphere - very few conversations going on - which was kind of odd.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Kings Mountain, NC (took a day)
to be honest i went thru 5 test assessments, a 1st interview A b4 you can move fwd I took interview B, both of the interviews were allegedly a success, that's what the interviewees said...I waited for 4-5 hrs, waited patiently and then I get told oh, the hiring recruiter is busy and she'll get bk with u, ok I call the next day, n with so much attitude the HR Mgr, said rudely, we decided to go with other candidates, ok u guys I've had a long trying day, and to go thru all those test n things, for an insecure, out of shape, female with low self esteem issues to have a attitude, I can say that they are biased as to WHO they want to work there, it's not about ur qualifications, it's about looks, so if u have the qualifications and you look decent, trust me, there not going to select you, No matter how well you did, if I could I'd get "ghetto", but I didn't I just said well, maybe it was best i didn't get an offer bc the atmosphere is snobby n if u have the "homely" look, your in, every1 there is a mess, so if u went n sat there for 5 hrs , and went thru hell n back n was denied that was bc of ur looks not work history, not background, not anything pertaining to work... it's sad 2 see you can't even go on an interview without being judges for your looks! Sorry, to say this but if your a mess , u fit their criteria...SMH what a waste of time!

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Lansdale, PA (took 2 months)
I was referred by a friend who is an employee. About a year ago, I was brought in for 2 interviews only to be told that they thought I was a "very strong candidate" but the position I had interviewed for had been "put on hold". A year later, I applied again for a different sales position. I was called shortly thereafter. I interviewed first with a depeartment manager. I was subsequently asked to come in a meet with the director of another department. She advised me that she thought that I was better suited for a different position and recommended me to a different department. About a week later, I interviewed with a different manager and was called back to come in for a "meet and greet" with the higher ups at Merck. I took off from work yet again, as I was told that this was pretty much a "done deal". I met with the execs and everything seemed to go very well, but now it's been almost 2 weeks, and I've heard absolutely nothing. It's somewhat confusing and very frustrating as I've been working through this process for 2 months now. They tend to bring your hopes up, and then you hear nothing back. I've contacted HR a couple times to follow up but still nothing. I wouldn't interview with them again. It was a complete waste of my time, especially having to go on 4 different interviews just to hear nothing.

I was referred by a friend. This company outsources for Merck so I was actually working at Merck Pharmaceutical on site Went in....sat with the new program supervisor. Asked basic questions...experience, people skills, questions, etc. A couple days after the interview I was called back in and offered the job. Based on what they ask me in my interview I got the feeling that anyone could have obtained this job.

Interviewed Nov 2008 in Allentown, PA (took 1 week)
They use you! They string you along for a month or more asking for inputs and tests ..online skills tests, personality tests! and then for an in person interview to design an actual presentation for them of the products they support. I was asked to give the same presentation to 3 different levels of managment! This is the abusive part. They say they must have this electronically (guess why).
As soon as they get that ,they have NO further contact with you - immediatly shut the door on your hiring prospects. This is confirmed by seeing them advertise for the same job over and over when they told me that my presentation was great, all the tests I passed well, but they hired "someone who was a bit better".
Then in one month they advertise the same job again! They did it again to another poor candidate who was used. In 2 months it is advertised again...I saw this patern for 6 mothhs til I stopped looking. I find this quite abusinve of their interviewees. A pure time waster (took 2 days to make the presentation just right!) and false hope as they suck the ideas out of poor folks who are looking for a job.
