Interview Question for Supply Chain Management Intern at Chrysler:

The conflict I experienced was with a former co-worker. This co-worker was not doing her share of job duties and I was having to pick up her slack. I resolved the issue by addressing her and asking her if we could talk about our job responsibilities. I explained to her that we were to share certain duties while others were assigned. I explained to her that it was her responsibility to do her assigned duties on the dates and times that they were assigned or risk the consequences of having not done them. I resolved the issue by telling her that she could lose her job as a result of not doing her assigned job duties. Additionally, I told her that if after I did my job and completed all my assigned duties that if time allowed me to that I would certainly help her if needed. I continued to tell her that I did not mind helping her as long as she was doing her share and trying. We as a team are to help one another. Needless to say, she admired my resolve and showed her appreciation by not only doing her assigned duties but stepping up and helping her co-workers to complete their duties.
