Interviewed Feb 2012 in Austin, TX (took a day)
4 people being interviewed together. We were all given a test - consisted of coding question and math questions. Could choose whether to take the developer test, QA test, or both.
After the hour was up, the answers were taken up and gone over by a group of people in the next room. They then came back, asked one of us to stay while the others were free to go.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Christchurch (New Zealand) (took 4 weeks)
Telogis has a thorough interview process. I was interviewed for a Software Developer position.
Initially before even attending their premises you are required to take an online programming test using a company called Codility which lasts two hours. The questions are detailed in my other review.
After passing this test I was called to their offices where I had my interview in a large meeting room with glass walls. This room is in the middle of their development area and you can see all the programmers around you. I was quite put off by their work conditions - it's a complete open space environment with no separations between people and they all actually share the same desk/s. The desks were completely clean - not even one piece of paper and every programmer got a tiny space. This is one of the worst work environments that I've seen! I couldn't imagine myself spending a full day in such work environment and it's reminded me a factory. I was tempted to ask where they are going to squeeze more people as it looks like there is hardly any space for the current programmers.
The first part of the interview was conducted by their recruitment manager and it had the usual questions like: why do you want to work here, tell us about a personal programming project, did you have a tension with work colleagues.
After that I had a written test with two parts: programming and maths: In the programming I had 3 questions: Write Fizz-Buzz programme
Implement linked list and iterate on that list from the start to end and end to start
Insert the content of your list to SQL table, copy the contents of this table to new table and drop this table
The last question was pretty hard and asked you to design data structure used for spatial access methods. This was an extremely hard question and there is no chance that someone can answer it. The answer is R tree. So learn all you can about R trees.
The maths test had geometry questions about the Pythagorean Theorem, trigonometric question about rectangles so you need to learn cos, tang and sin. There were other questions about calculations of distances from a point and matrix multiplication. The last times that I had such question were at high school so I couldn't answer these questions. They are basically setting the candidate to a failure with the maths interviews as 99% of programmers do not touch trigonometric issues. This was crazy !
I didn't pass this interview and I wasn't actually interested to work there after viewing their hideous work conditions (they are basically squeezed like sardines all day without any privacy). Parking can be an issue as there weren't much available parking spaces there.
The guy who came to check my test wasn't even interested to hear about my current work experience and he gave the impression that someone forced him to do this interview. I don't want to work for such a person ! Did I mention that they have been been looking for the "right" person for more than 8 months - after attending this interview I can understand why !
Work there only if you like to work in open space environment squeezed like a sardine.

Interviewed Feb 2011 (took 2 weeks)
I heard of Telogis from the job fair at my university, and got an e-mail about a week after the fair about interviewing on-site at their office.
This was definitely an interesting interview in that I walked through the door, was redirected to a conference room, and sat down with a few other people to take a written test. There were two parts, the first being math problems (matrix multiplication, geometry problems) and the second part was programming which were fairly easy, and once the hour time limit was up, the interviewer came in and talked to the group of us, telling us about the company, what we would be doing, etc.
Generally I would consider it to be a really impersonal situation but it was a very laid back environment, and we chatted quite a bit following the interview process.
This was the only "interview" and I heard back from them about two weeks later.
