Interviewed Jan 2011 (took 2 weeks)
Interviewed with the Branch Manager and 1 week later, interviewed with the Region Manager. I had applied online thru Monster and a link to Terminix Web Site. I completed the Personality and IQ/Intelligence Tests before the interview. Prior to final acceptance for employment I completed a Background Criminal Check and a Drug Test. Upon acceptance, Terminix International has a 6 month training program designed to prepare passing the Pest Control Technician test and a 10 day Aspire School to acclimate new hires into the pest control world. The 6 month program also includes extensive training on Terminix's safety and HR programs and slowly brings OSP hires to full commission status.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 2 weeks)
I applied online thru career builder, sending in my resume and recieved a call from the Regional Manager the smae day who said that he wanted me to come in for a face to face interview in the next friday...in one week. He spent about 15 minutes asking me some general questions about background, my former work experience, etc. At face to face interview it was a very informal conversation and most of the time was him telling me about the company, job description and what the daily routines would require. He called back in 5 days and had me come in for a 2nd interview this time with the other manager who asked more about my sales management experience and how it could apply to Terminix slaes people. I spend 1/2 in the field with a sales person to see if I understood and enjoyed the routine. I was called back 3 days later for an offer, but I declined as I could not see myself working in the field that much of the time, basically doing face to face presentations reviewing to sales persons effectiveness.

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took 5 days)
Pretty easy one on one interview on site. Then they ask you to do a ride along to make sure you are able to perform inspections on homes. After that I got the offer right away and accepted. They will hire anyone with half a brain as there turnover rate is pretty high.

Interviewed May 2010 (took 1 week)
Applied online and was called a couple days later. Phone interview lasted about 30 minutes and covered my work history and a basic description of the duties of B.M. Scheduled a face to face interview for a couple days later. Interviewer was late and very unorganized. After a brief interview I was given a skills test which consisted of about 50 multiple choice questions, most of which were budget and scheduling type questions. The questions were not hard, per se, but did take some thought as most of the answers were similiar to each other. The set me up at a vacant desk in the middle of a noisy, chaotic office so I don't think I did very well.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Tyler, TX (took 1+ week)
2 days after i applied online i was called to come in for a formal interview the following day and went to take a drug test which they lost the results for so 6 days later i had to go take another one at a different location and they got the results immediately then went for a 3 hour ride along with a bait inspector and had to decide from what he showed me if i was able to do the job (what he did was nothing like what i had to do) and then the next day the background check was completed and the health evaluation. tips to future candidates, find out exactly how much they want to pay before you accept the job, if youre going for a pest tech position whatever they tell you that you will be making subtract about 20% from that and the same goes for sales peopleand that number will be more accurate and most likely still higher than you actually will make. the computer system is ancient and is down for repairs every few days. 99% of the "great" things management will say to you are lies just to try and keep you happy and productive.

Interviewed Jan 2009 in Baltimore, MD (took 2 days)
There was a long test to take. I only met with my immediate supervisor but if you were to interview now you would meet with multiple managers at 3 different levels and it would take at least a week. Also, you must do an umpaid ride along so that you can tell if you will like the job.
