Interviewed Jan 2008 in Ukiah, CA (took a day)
It changed when Tesoro acquired the sites. They removed the authority to hire and fire from the Store Managers. Now you get an app. online and submit it. They run a background check and it determines your status. And since Sept. 11 more and more Companies are doing it this way. Its sad I went and met the Mgr. talked to him and left with a job. Now You are Never any better than the worst you ever were. No matter how long ago.
