Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Texas Instruments in April 2013.

Interview

Candidate submits resume via the company website (include adding profile and registration). This could be done to apply for a certain position or to be notified about vacancies. HR looks over the resume and matches the candidate with the position available. HR sends resume to hiring manager and in case of a match, contacts the candidate. Candidate has an interview with the HR over the phone first, then face to face interview with the hiring manager (usually at TI site). If successful, candidate undergoes the second interview with the director level.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Dallas, TX) in August 2011.

    Interview

Hopeless Operations Managers running different groups who cannot make a decision and always keep it hanging. They never contact the candidate after interviewing and do not have the courtesy to feedback. The operations managers cannot make a decision as to whom they want to hire in their and depend on VP, Directors to make the decision who will probably meet the candidate for the first and last time during interview. Why do you even post job openings if you cannot communicate with candidates. Also people working in Dallas operations are mostly transferred from TI around the world. They do not even understand value of Grad School degree and just ignore it during interview
