First 1:1 interview at college/university, second interview on-site at business unit nearest you. The second round consisted of 3 1:1 interviews and a tour. All interviews were behavioral. Very laid back, no pressure. Makes it very easy to be yourself.

Interviewed Jan 2009 (took 1 week)
Worked through a third party recruiter. Originally talked to hiring manager over the phone, and then invited to interview onsite with hiring manager and his director. The bosses were excited and wanted to get me in right away, but Human Resources dragged out the process and slowed things down signficantly.

Interviewed Feb 2011 (took a day)
The first interview is 1:1 and in the morning. They reconvene after lunch and after narrowing down the interviewees. The second round is in the afternoon and is a 1:2 interview. Both Interviews last around 30 minutes and are mostly behavioral questions such as walk me through your resume, or tell me about yourself.

Interviewed Jan 2011 (took a day)
Textron's interview process is very straight forward and not at all difficult. I went through two rounds in the same day. The first was a one on one interview and the second interview consisted of two other people. Both interviews asked the exact same behavioral questions. They clearly were just seeing if you can fit well within the company and trust that you have the basic skills necessary to complete your job.

Interviewed Apr 2010 in Hurst, TX (took a day)
The interviewers I had were really serious MBA-type people, and no matter how hard I tried to lighten them up they just kept right at it! It consisted of one 1:1 interview and then a second-round interview the same day with 2 people. These interviews were really average, and I walked out of them thinking I botched it but apparently they liked me. So it goes. The process itself was really quick because these guys are super efficient, which I really appreciate in an employer. I found out I was hired within a week of interviewing, whereas other places made me wait 2 weeks or more.

Interviewed Apr 2008 in Boston, MA (took a day)
I was told that I was one of four people selected from a job fair that was to be interviewed, and that at least one would get a job offer. I met with three people -- one was in HR, and just served for general questions. One was a manager in mechanical engineering that explained the company breakdown and some sample projects. I don't quite recall what the last one was interested in, but he was a younger engineer that worked there, and eagerly showed me their exhibition room. The overall style was informal, with plenty of broad, open questions that one might expect in a generic interview. It actually seemed to go pretty well, but I guess I just wasn't what they wanted at the time.

The interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview.
