Assistant Director of Admissions Interview

Assistant Director of Admissions

I applied online and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in July 2010.

Interview Details – Applied online at their corporate website. Was called the following week by the HR rep to attend an info session the following week. Info session lasted about 1 hr with a presentation by the HR rep of the company overall and specific benefits. Next the Sr Admissions Director described the working enviorment in the department and why it was such a great job to have. Questions were asked by attendees during the last part of the info session. Next was the 1st round of interviews 1:1 with either HR or Sr Dir. If you pass that interview you get send an assesment to take. Interview was basic questions about your resume and your selling skills with several situation questions. In about 2 weeks you will get a call to come back for second set of interviews with other memebers of the admissions staff. Then the final round of interviews with the Sr Director and the President of the Institute. Entire process took 1-1.5 months before being told they had chosen someone else.

Interview Question – Describe your customer service skills and how they would help you in this position.   View Answer
