I applied through a recruiter and the process took 1 week - interviewed at The Children's Place in January 2013.
Interview Details – First two interviews I had were over the phone with two different district managers the third interview was in person with the district manager and regional manager. I was recruited by a district manager and asked to apply online, the application has a personality test that tales at least 30-45 minutes and it is ridiculous to try and post your resume. I received a call a few hours after I submitted my application and that was my first phone interview, it was about 30 minutes long.

Very Easy Interview
The process took 5 days - interviewed at The Children's Place in May 2012.
Interview Details – I made phone calls and went into the stores and asked for SM's about openings, they passed my info along to the DM. I recommend being pro-active with any type of position you are interested in. That says it all for the powers that be, they know you went out of your way, I got an interview right away. Met with the DM and phone interview with Regional. Easy if you are bright and have experience. Just be goal oriented, truly believe in and know what exceptional customer service is and talk about how and what you would do to grow the business. Smile and be excited about the company! Great company, great salaries, make sure your not put into a hornets nest of a store, ie; bad staff. Ask why there is an opening. It makes ALL the difference in the world to be placed in a decent store. A brand new one if possible, with new staff!
Interview Question – What are your weaknesses? View Answer
Negotiation Details – Negotiate, bump up your desired salary and you will get more. Keep in mind-the companies always determine bonuses, by hiking the goals. Don't count on making bonuses to make up for salary, don't ever be afraid to ask for more.

Interview Details – The first initial interview took place in person with another store manager the interview went well was asked generic question she had ask me towards the later part of the interview if I would consider a different position such as the asst manager position it was very odd to me because she knew that the position was for the store manager for a new location therefore she had stated that the store manager position was already filled by an employee that they moved up ! Well I thought its been to many years that I had not been an asst manager the interview ended by her and stated that she would have her DSM contact me in which it took two weeks .I was very please to meet DSM very nice person the interview went extremely well she was impressed by my experience and my over all knowledge of management skills she explain to me that I was over qualified to be an asst manager and had asked me again if i would consider I thought why not its an opportunity to show them my experience and grow with in the company it would bother me at all . After all off that I thought I had the job! well to my surprise I was told that there would be a third interview by all DSM regional store managers in all total about nine manager all from Dallas,Houston, Sugar Land,Austin and many more they rotated among each other and interview me by two's well to my surprise again all were very friendly and they all stated that they were all being train on how to give a perfect interview well again to my amazed after going through all of that they all concluded that I was over qualified and they would hold my resume for a future store manager position as of today they still have not filled the position as an asst manager

She ask me so many questions (behavior/operational) that I don't remember all of them but I do know that I talked more than I usually do.
Interview Question – It came when I had a face to face interview with the District Manager.
