Interviewed May 2011 in San Francisco, CA (took a day)
After interviewing with The Creative Group, I had to take a skills test. The interview was one on one. The test was just proving I can do what I say I can do. For other positions through them, some straight up offered after the interview with the creative group. I had one that wanted me to complete a design test.

Interviewed Jul 2011 (took 2 days)
I met with The Creative Group recruiter to discuss a contract position. The Creative Group offers access to training for prospective employees who they send on an interview. I met with the client a few days later for a panel interview. We discussed the job and the panel asked questions about how I handled various scenarios in the past. I was willing to accept the position if offered, but at a higher rate. The recruiting manager stated the job was on hold.

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 4 weeks)
Initial phone screen was pretty standard, but I made the real connection with one of the 2 recruiters I met with in person at their offices. We reviewed my resume, and the types of jobs/companies/functions I was interested in. Afterward I received feedback on how to improve my resume (note: you have to ask for this) for those types of jobs. After about 45min of conversation, one of the 2 recruiters mentioned a couple of open positions they were currently trying to place - we discussed them and I told them which ones I'd like to pursue.
A few days later I got a call back from my recruiter about one of the positions - she wanted to get my availability for an in-person interview with the client. Client interview was scheduled within that same week. Had a second round, and then a mini-3rd round via phone (and recruiter called me within 20 min of each meeting to ask me how I thought it went).

Interviewed Dec 2009 in Philadelphia, PA (took a day)
I received a phone call from the lead recruiter asking me to come in for an interview. They had double booked an appointment on that day and I ended up waiting in the lobby for over 45 minutes. After a ton of paperwork, including all hiring forms, the recruiter I met with lectured me on why she couldn't place me based on my experience. I wasn't sure why she had asked me to come in, if there was nothing that she saw fit for my experience based on my resume.
