The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at The Gap in July 2010.
Interview Details – No one ever got back to me regarding my status. I followed up twice about two weeks in between tries. I just gave up.
Interview Question – How did you handle a situation in which you did not agree with your Manager instructions? Answer Question
I applied online and the process took 3 weeks - interviewed at The Gap in December 2009.
Interview Details – Environment was very casual. I felt overdressed in a nice sweater, slacks and heels. My interviewer wore jeans, a t-shirt and tennis shoes. Initial contact was made by a human resources representative. A phone screen was performed. It took several weeks to get an interview scheduled. I did not receive a lot of follow-up, I had to initiate all contact. The interview was scheduled 2 weeks in advance. The in-person interview lasted approximately 1 hour. Background check forms were filled out at this time. After the interview it took 2 weeks for me to hear back, after I initiated contact.
