Accepted Offer – Interviewed in McAllen, TX Nov 2012 – Reviewed Nov 28, 2012
Interview Details – I applied on a Friday afternoon, they called me in for an interview the following Monday afternoon. You don't necessarily have to go dresses professionally for the interview. You go in your own style and add layers, a lot of Gap clothing is simple and basic and they want to see you can play around with style by layering anything. It was a group interview,There were four of us, two didn't show up. Questions they asked were mostly all about customer service! They had one or two scenarios. My advice is too be bubbly and outgoing, they don't want to hire quiet shy people.
Interview Question – One thing we had to do is go out and find an outfit for a guy in any occasion. Make sure to LAYER!! Be descriptive when you have to describe why you chose the things you picked out. View Answer
Negotiation Details – After in the interview they called me two days later, just saying they would like to offer me the job and that I would get paid minimum wage. Then they set up an orientation and training date.
Other Details - I applied online and the process took 1 week.
