Interviewed Dec 2009 in San Francisco, CA (took a day)
This was a casual 1:1 with the hiring manager for 30 minutes. This interview was planned through the recruiter who was professional and courteous.
The culture seemed almost painfully casual, and I felt overdressed in a basic business casual outfit. (no suit or tie) The hiring manager was disorganized and didn't ask any questions, and showed very little interest.
Though I think I interviewed very well, I haven't received any follow-up from them after sending two nice thank you emails and a voicemail requesting feedback.
Other Details
I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Presentation.

Interviewed Jul 2009 in San Francisco, CA (took a day)
I initially submitted my resume to the GAP by completing their online submission process. I did not hear from them for a few weeks, so at that time I contact a friend who worked there and asked that they give me an internal recommendation, which they were happy to do. After a week I received a call from the West Coast Recruiter, and scheduled an over the phone interview. My interview with her lasted approx. 45 minutes, and covered my background/experience as it pertained to marketing and in-store promotions. While I didn't get the job it was a positive interview experience and valuable.

Interviewed Apr 2007 in San Francisco, CA (took 2 weeks)
The interview was informal with half hour sessions with 4 different cross funtional partners. Each interview focused on a key focus (financial acumen, competitive landscape, managing and operating, partnerships). The interviews were conversations that probed about my ability to handle the job, fit within the team culture and my business acumen.
