I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at The Home Depot (Pittsburgh, PA) in July 2012.

    Interview

You'll get a call from the District Human Resource Manager or the Regional Administrative Assistant to schedule a face to face interview. The interview will be with the District Manager and the District Human Resource Manager. It's going to be very structure with some casual conversation (be ready to talk about something not work related). If you pass this interview you'll be sent to interview with the RVP and the Regional HR director.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ weeksinterviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA) in January 2012.

    Interview

Following a phone screening and review of work history and education, the recruiter set up an interview time/place/date, at the district office. The interview was actually a group interview with 3 other candidates for the position, including an internal candidate. Following introductions, each was asked to interview while the other candidates were completing a battery of timed examinations, which included basic math, customer service, time management, and operational knowledge. A panel interview followed, then candidates were advised of the time frame for follow up. Within 48 hours, an invitation to another interview with the district staff was extended, but not accepted.

    Application

I applied through other source. The process took a dayinterviewed at The Home Depot in March 2011.

    Interview

I feel that the interview process is formatted correctly. The initial interview is a competency test regarding your knowledge of the business platform. Then you conduct 2 interviews with a District Manager as well as a District HR Manager. Overall experience is good.
