Project Manager Interview (Negative Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at The Nielsen Company in February 2013.
Interview Details – One written test based on Arithmetic, reasoning, two set of telephonic rounds based on statistics like sampling, regression etc, also asked about experience, how to handle clients, kind of Industries, kind of projects handled, type of people managed, challenges faced, how did we tackle etc
Interview Question – Unexpected question is, how do you manage multiple tasks or stakholders Answer Question
Research Analyst Interview (Neutral Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through a recruiter and the process took a day - interviewed at The Nielsen Company in July 2014.
Interview Details – very impressed at the way things work in Nielsen company, contacted immediately after the test for the results. very quick, clear and crisp. only one thing I did not understand is why dont they allow to sit for all the tests? i am sure many of you'l will agree with me...........having studied 5 years of statsistics you wont be judged on it and wont be allowed to give test unless you clear Maths and English, that too with 70%.

Interview Question – nothing is difficult if you study hard core for aptitude tests, but after achieving your masters degree in a particular subject one often sidelines aptitude, so only advice is go for it the harder way!!!. Answer Question
Senior Research Analyst Interview (Neutral Experience; Difficult Interview)
I applied through a staffing agency and the process took 2 months - interviewed at The Nielsen Company in March 2010.
Interview Details – intial steps are very fast but on later stages it becomes very slow & lethargic and very uncertain steps on their side i feel their HR department was very confused about their own procedure
Interview Question – tell the expected no. of international flights from delhi airport with a logic Answer Question
Analyst Interview (Neutral Experience; Average Interview)
I applied through college or university - interviewed at The Nielsen Company in March 2014.
Interview Details – apti was easy,consisted of easy maths,english and case study.concentrate on maths.no logical reasoning.,but maybe they will change pattern next year..8 people were shortlsted out of 35.
The next was a technical interview process was long..u have to express ur ideas clearly.
if selected there was an HR round
again another technical.
Interview Question – the quesns on stats were not difficult..the main thing is u need to convince ur interviewer..understand what he/she wants as an ans. Answer Question
ARC Analyst Interview (Positive Experience; Average Interview)
The process took a day - interviewed at The Nielsen Company in September 2010.
Interview Details – Interviewed in 2010. Process may have changed since then. Had one aptitude test. Fairly simple except for 2-3 tricky questions. This was followed by 2 rounds of interview. One was technical with simple to moderate difficulty DI questions interpretation and a couple of marketing questions. The other was plain HR questions

Manager Interview (Positive Experience; Difficult Interview)
I applied through an employee referral and the process took 1 week - interviewed at The Nielsen Company in June 2010.
Interview Details – Had a written test which covered topics like, English, Logical reasoning, Proposal writing and Maths.
After clearing the written test, two managers interviewed me at the same time.
Then had an interview with the director for the SBU.
Final interview was with the HR
Interview Question – Need to prepare very well for the logical reasoning and mathematics problems.
Interview with the director, had me answeing questions on research methods, sampling, data sourcing, designs and general knowledge Answer Question

I applied through an employee referral and the process took 2 months - interviewed at The Nielsen Company in September 2009.
Interview Details – Number of interviews will be 4-5.
It will with a written test which includes section on logic,statistics,maths and english.
