When I first applied to OSU, I submitted a paper application. Several weeks later, I received a call asking me if I would like to come in for a test. A few weeks after that, I was contacted by phone to come in for an interview. I interviewed at the department that was hiring and was hired on the spot.

    Interview Questions
    • I think answering the required salary question is always the most difficult. You don't want to ask for more than they are willing to pay but you don't want to sell yourself short either.   Answer Question

Audition and good academic standing was required to receive a scholarship from the Men's Glee Club. You also had to be an active participant in the group itself. This group can end up being a personal and profession support system for any young professional. Other responsibilities come if you run for office of the organization. This is a difficult process and requires political campaign and a well written speech in order gain favor from your peers.

Had to apply online first. General information, and a few broad essay questions that focus on diversity, problem solving, etc. If you do well with that (and there is no reason you shouldn't), plus you have a 3.0+ GPA, you get to the interview. The interview questions are behavioral in nature, dealing with conflict mediation, diversity, stress, etc. After that, you have the RA class. It used to be that one would be hired after the class; now you will be hired before.

    Interview Questions
    • There were no hugely technical questions. Just be prepared for answers to conflict mediation and diversity. Think about the position, and be honest in your answers.   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
No negotiation. You get full room, discount meal plan, and a biweekly stipend.

I interviewed with Travel, Pcard and Expediting Department. It is not hard. The manager just asked me the past working experience, graduation day and the hobby. She is very kind and encourage me to talk more about myself. I really love my job. I worked in the Expediting team and have great working experience to prepare for the future full time job.
