I was unsure, as I knew people understand that reception work is usually a doorway to more opportunities yet people want their receptionists to stay in their position as long as possible, as they become accustomed to the flow of a great working environment that a receptionist can create. I answered, "I would welcome the opportunity for advancement only if it were the right time and the offer fit my skills. I would not leave my position if it disturbed the logistics of my work environment."
