The Nielsen Company Associate Client Manager Interview Question

I interviewed in Bentonville, AR and was asked:
"The recruiter was very persistent in identifying my experience with pivot tables specifically, to the point where 1/3rd of the interview was spent on that facet alone."

That's pretty silly and unprofessional of them. Pivot tables aren't exactly an advanced skill, so even if you had NO experience with them, you could easily pick it up in a couple of days. Proof once again that Nielsen doesn't know what to look for in hiring or promoting its people, which explains why they're a revolving door.
