    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took a dayinterviewed at Think Finance (Addison, TX) in January 2015.

    Interview

I was called for personal interview after clearing their phone screening. It was a pleasant experience overall. Was interviewed by three different persons [on different hierarchy level] for almost one hour each. They asked variety of questions from technical(C#, OOPS etc.), behavioral to overall industry knowledge on where things are headed. e.g. SPA, Big Data.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeksinterviewed at Think Finance (Fort Worth, TX) in June 2014.

    Interview

Initial interview was a phone screen with the hiring manager who asked some basic questions and a few technical question, provided a basic over view of the position and company. Next interview was with the hiring manager again who asked a list of standard questions, mostly behavior based such as what would you do in this situation, how you would you handle this or that. Also interviewed with 2 of individuals in IT, they asked standard questions, no technical questions were asked.

About 5 days after my interview I get an email from this company stating next step with a link to a personality based survey. I filled out the survey which took about 30 minutes. Didn't here any thing back from them until I email the HR Recruiter a week later inquiring about the status of the position in which I was informed that I was no longer being pursued as a candidate.

    Interview

The hiring process was a little long but well worth the wait that it took for them to contact me. I was intially called a few day's after applying by a Senior recruiter at Think Finance requesting a brief phone interview, after a few day's, I was requested to come in for a face-to-face interview. After the last interview, it took about a month before I heard back from them with an official offer.

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took a dayinterviewed at Think Finance in April 2014.

    Interview

6 interviews with analyst , managers. Content of the interview was not very sophisticated. Company act like running sophisticated business but at the end of the day they make payday loans. risky business , young but inexperienced managers. They need to bring in more sophisticated people from other areas of financial industry.

    Reasons for Declining

I don't think these guys are serious when they post the jobs. they want to hire bunch of analysts so that the work gets done. lots of cowboy mentality and ingrown breeds rather than financials thinkers. not too professional environment.

Went through a recruiter. Based on the nature of the industry and culture, most departments have a hard time filling positions, so stand your ground, they are more likely to budge.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ monthsinterviewed at Think Finance (Fort Worth, TX) in September 2013.

    Interview

After 2 phone interviews, next round was interviews with multiple individuals. Didn't hear anything for a few weeks then contacted to complete personality assessment. Again, didn't hear anything for a few weeks then contacted for another round of face to face interviews with multiple individuals. Again, after a few weeks, contacted by recruiter that said decision would be made soon, but haven't heard back. After having 10-12 individual interviews and the hours that it took, I'm disappointed that the company didn't follow up. During interview process, all individuals stressed that the company is a very fast paced environment but that does not seem to apply to hiring process.

    Interview Questions

    • Overall process was not difficult as the interviews were typical, but what was most difficult was the hours that it took to meet with so many people.   Answer Question
