I interviewed in-person. The process took a day - interviewed at Think Finance in April 2014.

6 interviews with analyst , managers. Content of the interview was not very sophisticated. Company act like running sophisticated business but at the end of the day they make payday loans. risky business , young but inexperienced managers. They need to bring in more sophisticated people from other areas of financial industry.

I don't think these guys are serious when they post the jobs. they want to hire bunch of analysts so that the work gets done. lots of cowboy mentality and ingrown breeds rather than financials thinkers. not too professional environment.

I interviewed online. The process took 4 weeks - interviewed at Think Finance in June 2014.

    Interview Details

Initial interview was a phone screen with the hiring manager who asked some basic questions and a few technical question, provided a basic over view of the position and company. Next interview was with the hiring manager again who asked a list of standard questions, mostly behavior based such as what would you do in this situation, how you would you handle this or that. Also interviewed with 2 of individuals in IT, they asked standard questions, no technical questions were asked.

About 5 days after my interview I get an email from this company stating next step with a link to a personality based survey. I filled out the survey which took about 30 minutes. Didn't here any thing back from them until I email the HR Recruiter a week later inquiring about the status of the position in which I was informed that I was no longer being pursued as a candidate.

The hiring process was a little long but well worth the wait that it took for them to contact me. I was intially called a few day's after applying by a Senior recruiter at Think Finance requesting a brief phone interview, after a few day's, I was requested to come in for a face-to-face interview. After the last interview, it took about a month before I heard back from them with an official offer.

Culture between Ft. Worth and Addison offices seemed disjointed. Team members were friendly and welcoming. Culture is very concerned with regulatory compliance. Multiple team members commuted from Dallas to Ft. Worth office every day. Working remote or in the Addison office was promoted by HR by management team did not seem on the same page.
