Interviewed Mar 2008 (took a day)
Their were three sets of interview. The first one is with the human resource supervisor then the supervisor or the manager of the department eyeing you as a potential candidate.. then finally the group or panel interview with the japanese and local managers. The interview is very technical. They ask you stuff like circuits, and other engineering thing. It was fun and very challenging experience.

Interviewed Feb 2009 in Tokyo (Japan) (took 3 days)
Mostly technical interviews. Make sure you know how to present and explain your thesis well. Be prepared to enumerate technical qualifications and also the projects done which needed those skills. We were about 40 people interviewed, with an average of 7 people coming from Asian countries. Most of the applicants are graduate students (Masters or PhD).
