Interviewed Jan 2012 (took a day)
Asked pretty basic interview questions, including: Why Trane? What do you know about Trane/HVAC? Do you see yourself staying in one company for a long time? Tell me about a time you had to persuade a group member to do something? How would you go about motivating a team to finish a project on time?

Interviewed Jul 2011 in Nashville, TN (took 1+ week)
The first interview was highly organized with questions that had clearly been thought out in advance. These questions dealt with sales skills, leaderships skills and the size and kind of previous organizations that you had lead in your career. Interview was conducted by a man. The second interview was done by a women who had no clear objective. These questions had no clear right/wrong good/bad strong/weak answers.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Nashville, TN (took 2 days)
The process starts with a resume screening from the Human Resources department. Then it is followed up with a phone interview that is conduct by the HR group. The phone interview is a second screening process that allows the interviewer to explain details of the the job requirements and expectations as well as exploring the individual's background for relative experience and possiblity of placement. The candidate will then be scheduled to meet the local hiring HR rep (if available) as well as the manager in which, the candidate will be directly reporting. The process seems very laid back and more like and introduction or meet and greet than a stuffy interview. If the candidate makes the short list they will be called back for one last office visit and then offers will be extended.

Interviewed Mar 2011 (took 3 days)
I applied for the job online at their company website. I actually applied for three of their jobs and I only recieved a call about one of them. A few weeks later a human resources employee called to set up a phone screening the following day. The phone screening was with two individuals, one a quality leader, and another engineer. I was pleased with their attitudes, and thought I did well since I tried to research about their company beforehand. Two days later I recieved a call from the same employee who set up the phone screening and they offered me the position.

Interviewed Sep 2009 (took 1 week)
After an HR rep called to set up an interview time, I was called by my boss, who asked a few character-based questions and then set up a time for me to come in and speak with him and his boss. When I got there, they showed me around and then sat me in a conference room, where we held the interview. They mostly asked questions about scenarios from my past experiences -- the how-did-you-handle-this questions. Other questions consisted of past successes and failures of mine. That's about all I can remember.

It was simply awful. CEO seemed to suffer from ADD. Would ask a question then leave room. Brought people in and out of room, so would have to start all over again. A real nightmare
