Interviewed Jul 2011 in Hartford, CT (took 2 days)
First interview went well one on one with the recruiter, though was quite a lengthy list of questions to be answered. Second interview was more like an interrogation with four people sitting around in a circle and pouncing on you with follow up questions before you had a chance to finish answering the last question asked. Extremely hostile environment.

Interviewed Oct 2010 (took 2 days)
long drawn out interview...was flown in met and had dinner with management some team members etc. participated in meetings and gave feedback. Was given a full days work to complete before being offered the job. I knew then that the morale was low. People flat out told me.

I was called told how much the position paid then said i'd be getting a written offer. I was offered salary and told this was all he could give and that the offer was firm. I negotiated moving expenses, which I received in my first paycheck. The salary was low compared to other stations but the cost of living in Dallas isnt bad so it was something I could live with.

Interviewed Sep 2009 in Chicago, IL (took 2 days)
The HR department there seems to be a bit disorganized. I applied for a job in advertising sales. The posting online summarized the job description as working on integrated media, which included online and print. I was called for a phone screening and the questions were pretty basic: "what appeals to you about the job?" "what do you do at your current job?", etc. The HR person even asked about ideal salary, which I found a little odd for a phone screening. I was scheduled that day for an in person interview. I was supposed to meet with the HR person first, then he was to introduce me to "other team members." He was 20 minutes late for the interview and I was stuck waiting in the downstairs lobby. I struck up a conversation with the security guy, who was very friendly. Finally, the HR rep came to greet me. He immediately brought me to one of the managers. It was in this interview that I learned that the online posting and description by the HR rep in the phone screening was quite off. First, it was dealing with online media only, not multiple platforms as previously described. Also, I would be working remotely for the New York office. The job was based in Chicago. I was a little caught off guard by this. The people all seemed quite friendly, although one of the managers I met with openly yawned several times during the interview. Overall, it seemed like a decent organization, just in a bit of disarray.

Interviewed Jun 2008 (took 2 weeks)
I was referred by a friend to my direct supervisor. We had an informal talk on the phone to discuss the position and set up an in-person meeting. I interviewed with her and her direct supervisor for an hour. The questions were general and they were friendly. It seemed casual around the office. Nothing crazy was going on, but it wasn't a ghost town. I received the offer within a week.
