Interviewed May 2011 (took 3 weeks)
This was quite an extensive proccess. First I did a phone interview with someone from hr, then the hr manager, then the Branch Manager. All along the way i had to go over and over my resume and experience of course. Finally after a few weeks of emails and phone interviews i was given an interview with the branch manager. He was totally unprepared for the interview. He didnt review my resume prior to the meeting and I could tell that he was intimidated by my experience and resume. After rehashing my entire work history in detail and explaining all my (MANAGEMENT and SALES) experience he told me that he would like me to start as a supervisor at half the pay because i lacked experience. (In my previous job i doubled almost 80% of all contracts values in upsells and increased profit to the company as a whole by nearly 30%...( and we are talking millions here not thousands of dollars.......... my commision for sales almost doubled my salary last year........ i guess thats what you call a lack of experience!) I managed about 50 employees and 4 supervisors, dealt with clients and did it all in about 45hrs a week.
I really feel as though the Branch Manager was totally incompitent! Its no wonder the company has such poor reviews. When you have these types of people in the key positions do you really think that they are going to be making the appropriate decisions when it comes to Sales, Service, or employee management? If you are thinking about applying for this company beware!!!!! Though dealing with servicemaster was easy and profesional. At the Branch level This company is useless.

Reason for Declining
I applied for a management position and offered a labor position at half the pay! After having several more attractive offers on the table i decided to decline. My last words were " thanks for waisting my time!" His were " But i really think you would be a great addition to the crew, we work lots of overtime so really you would be making the same." .......... I guess to be a manager there you must have to be empty between the ears............lol I hope that they are checking the books at his branch cause he surely cant do basic math.

Interviewed Aug 2009 in Everett, WA (took 3 weeks)
Recruiters are professional, polite and always willing to do whatever they can for you. It is a extensive process only for the absolute serious candidate. First couple contacts were phone interviews, then some testing, HR contact, regional manager contact, branch manager contact, then 1:1 with Branch manager. Overall excellent and professional process.
